저희 가정을 축복하려 오신 목사님께서 선택해 주신 성경 문구입니다. 이전에 들어보지 못한 부분이라 찾아보았습니다.

There are four things which are little upon the earth, But they are exceeding wise:

The ants are a people not strong, Yet they provide their food in the summer;

The conies are but a feeble folk, Yet make they their houses in the rocks;

The locusts have no king, Yet go they forth all of them by bands;

The lizard taketh hold with her hands, Yet is she in kings' palaces.

Proverbs 30:24-28

땅에서 아주 작으면서도 가장 지혜로운 것이 넷이 있으니,
곧 힘이 없는 종류이지만 먹을 것을 여름에 예비하는 개미와,
약한 종류이지만 바위 틈에 자기 집을 짓는 오소리와,
임금은 없으나 떼를 지어 함께 나아가는 메뚜기와,
사람의 손에 잡힐 것 같은데도 왕궁을 드나드는 도마뱀이다.
